Another Reason Why I Hate Reality

I was completely shocked today when we were discussing some social matter that is related to our society. In fact, it made me really sad and my heart ached, I don't believe how low people can get!
Some of you might heard of this and other might not, I didn't! They say that there are some girls who go to wedding or FUNERALS in order to show themselves as future brides for whoever is their who are looking for a girl to marry or whatever. What shocks me that places like weddings, funerals, or any social gathering ended up like this. I am really shameful by my own gender, there is no reason in the world that would let a descent girl sells herself like this, as a cheap object on a shelf in the corner. And worst of all, the fact that they are actually pretending to be someone they are not only to show others that they can be good wives while they are not. This is so sick, to use religion and social manners as a way to get what we need, I don't know how does this people think or how pathetic they can get, but I know that it is not allowed to use religion like this, it is simply lying but decorated with all these repressions of society over who's gonna get married first, what hell! I mean what happens if a girl did not marry? will she die? or lose a part of her brain? or I don't may be her rank in the society will get lower because people will look at her as the "unmarried one". This brings us to another issue; appearances! which needs a whole of a book to discuss it, a book specialized in this matter, especially in Kuwait. ALLAH Y3EEN !!

    The thing is it became like a tradition, but don't look at it this negative way. Usually the mother says to her daughter to come with her to the wedding so people notice how elegant, thoughtful, beautiful and smart this girl is and then those people have the honor to join her with their families. I'm talking about weddings as a good place to socialize, not funerals.
    I think if they use funerals for that purpose, they are sick.

    I think the idea started well, as u said like a tradition, but then people began to exaggerate it, girls started to ACT in front of people to "get the part" like if they are not social they will become the most loving, hugging, kissing to their family or whatever people, to show the others "look at us we do care about others, yaaay we love each other and we will be lovely housewives for you and your sons!"
    My point is that the tradition can remain as it, but people must stop acting.

    shall i say this is best anaylsis of girls in kuwait society i have ever read ?... or you are really good writer ..but i will chose the other option ;) however i may come against you in point where you said " or I don't may be her rank in the society will get lower because people will look at her as the "unmarried one" "

    i believe when a girl reached 30 without being married .. there would be something wrong with her and i think society will be look at her differently

    first, thnx for sharing this with us, i can't see the problem if girls use weddings for tht purpose believe me it's better than seeking it in "other places", however girls who r trying to act differently(politer,nicer) they r sick and will be discovered soon or later. and i'm talking only about weddings xD

    i think tradition is lame, why should i do what my family or my country used to do many years ago ??

    my kids are so not going to do tradition things unless they want to heh :\

A Fresh Start

We all know that life has many obstacles, and because we are humans, we tend to face these obstacles all the time. Not just that, we also tend to face a lot of problems, the hard to be solved kind, only because at some moment we have made some stupid decision. Although, a stupid decision does not necessirly mean that we are stupid. The human mind meets a lot of destractions that might be from the person himself or from things around him.
